‘How we treat each other at work has an enormous impact on how teams perform – with potentially fatal consequences if you work in healthcare. Chris Turner reveals the shocking impact of rudeness in the workplace, arguing that civility saves lives. Chris Turner is a consultant in emergency medicine at University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire. He founded and runs Civility Saves Lives, a campaign that aims to raise awareness of the power of civility in healthcare. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.’
