The event also includes an interactive workshop on inclusive focused networks which enables participants to explore the different types of networks that exist across the three sectors and through scenarios look at what good looks like and how to respond to common challenges. This provides you the opportunity to share practice and learn from and through your peers across sectors.

The Coalition of Racial Equality and Rights (CRER) will also present an interactive workshop in support of their current project to develop Anti-Racism resources for the sectors. This provides you the opportunity to learn more about the project and contribute to the development of these resources to highlight your individual and collective needs.

A resource pack will be prepared and issued to all attendees post event so that this important learning and practice can be cascaded widely across health, social care and social work.

Instilling inclusive systems leadership at the heart of Scotland’s health, social care and social work sectors is important to ensuring we build and sustain a diverse workforce at all levels. It will also enable care providers a better understanding of the needs and challenges of our diverse communities so that we can together deliver improved workforce experience and greater levels of high quality care.
