We are delighted to announce that as part of the launch of our Leadership Success Profile (LSP), we have collaborated with Mindtools to bring you a range of practical, quality resources that align to the LSP and aim to support your leadership and management development. 

What is Mindtools? 

Mindtools is a global provider of accessible, on-demand skills development for leaders and managers, delivering a wide variety of practical tools, resources and insights.  

The Mindtools Content Hub offers health and social care staff in Scotland access to a wide range of practical, evidence-based resources that support leadership & management development. 

Anyone who helps to deliver publicly funded health or social care in Scotland is eligible for a free, online subscription with Mindtools through the Knowledge Network. 

You can access Mindtools via The Knowledge Network and create your own account to save useful resources, track your progress, and receive personalised suggestions that support your leadership development – whenever and wherever you need them. 

How does this link to the new Leadership Success Profile? 

In collaboration with Mindtools and the Leading to Change team; we have created playlists of curated content linking to the Leadership Success Profile for Operational Leaders. This provides specially selected resources that support the core behaviours of the profile.  

Once you have logged on to your account, click on any of the large tiles to go straight to the full list of resources that accompany each behavioural cluster, or click on the smaller tiles underneath to go to the resources aligned to that particular dimension.

How to access Mindtools

To access Mindtools, please apply for an OpenAthens account. This account will allow you to access most of the NHS Scotland electronic subscriptions. Here are some useful links from the Knowledge Network to get you started:
