Leadership Live

The why  – for leaders at all levels

It is our work at Leading to Change to bring you relevant, useful, high-quality leadership development that supports your leadership journey, whatever your role and whatever your level, in our social work, social care and health in Scotland.   Part of that support includes quality resources aligned to leadership, change, innovation and other relevant topics, from all sectors.

There are a wealth of resources available through TURAS Learn, 23 things Leadership and Stepping into Leadership and local offerings and it’s great to be able to also provide insights from external sources, constantly bringing new, quality, diverse resources together.

We are keen to work with partners who understand our social work, social care and health system and who want to work with us to share what they have to offer in ways that are accessible for those across our system.

The leadership offer

We have teamed up with HULT Ashridge  to invite leaders from all levels, all roles and all areas of the wider system to explore their online development platform, Leadership Live.  This will enable you to have access to a wide range of inspirational and practical resources that support leadership at all levels and across all areas allowing you to tailor your development to your own leadership needs.

The most popular courses that our leaders have used to date include:

  • The Change Management Toolkit
  • Developing Your Emotional Intelligence
  • Creating a Performance Culture
  • Leading in Uncertainty
  • Strategy Basics
  • Mindful Leadership
  • Big Data and Analytics
  • Coaching for Managers
  • Developing Resilience

Many have found the Development Mapper Tool a useful tool to explore what is available that is of interest to them.

Leadership Live is a digital education platform with extensive content, all developed and curated by HULT Ashridge faculty including well known leadership names and thought leaders. The platform caters for different learning styles with video, audio, masterclass, quiz and text-based resources, available in different lengths and accessible at all times on all devices.

The experience

Here in the Leading to Change team we have been exploring the site, reviewing content relevant to social work, social care and health audiences.  We will continue to work in partnership with the team at Leadership Live to develop and evolve the curated content we recommend to reflect feedback, emerging themes and relevant changes impacting our system in it’s widest sense over the coming year. This, coupled with the platform’s development mapper and digital diagnostics, mean you will be able to find great content that is relevant to your personal development easily and quickly.

The invitation

We are offering this fully funded one-year subscriptions to anyone working anywhere in the wider Social Work, Social Care and Health system in Scotland including those in the Third and Voluntary sectors and independent organisations.  Subscription numbers are limited and the licence is free to those who apply.

Applications are now open and close midnight on Sunday 1st December 2024. Please use the buttons below to apply. .
