Digital Health and Care Leadership Programme (DLP)

The Digital Health and Care Leadership Programme (DLP) offers aspiring leaders from across Scotland’s health, care and housing sectors an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and influence the digital transformation of health and care services.

The exciting and interactive programme includes: live learning sessions, peer support groups, access to subject matter experts and influential digital leaders, resources for self-study and networking opportunities. Throughout the programme candidates are also offered support and guidance throughout from both NHS Education Scotland (NES) and the Scottish Digital Health and Care Network.

For many previous candidates this programme has been a pivotal moment in their career development helping to build skills, knowledge, confidence and networks to pursue health and care roles with a specific digital remit. Here are just some of the comments from previous learners:

“This course has been inspirational – giving me confidence to be bolder and see opportunities from a digital angle”

“The Digital Health and Care Leadership programme has given me the platform to bring a long-term idea to fruition … the course gave me a platform or education and peer support to bring my ideas to life.”

During the 8-month programme participants are supported to progress a live digital improvement project, which will benefit their own organisation and the people of Scotland.
