Welcome to our ‘Spotlight Sessions’. These events are designed to raise awareness of an idea, approach of research that we believe could interest and inspire those involved in Social Work, Social Care, Health and related third sector and voluntary sectors. These sessions are open to all and recommended for anyone across all sectors interested in understanding more.
As Leading to Change, we are delivering a series of awareness sessions relating to core themes within social work and social care with the intention of ‘shining a light’ into the areas of the sector that others may know very little or nothing about.
We want to give people insights into roles and functions and the impact on ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ with a view to reinforcing the message about collaborative leadership and the difference it can make.
We will welcome into the conversation, Diana Hekerem, into the conversation. Diana will speak to us about our Scottish Approach to Change and how they bring together a quality management and change methodologies to renewal of health and social care with a clear and coherent methodology. You will also hear insights about how the principles of a Human Learning System approach supports quality management in integrated health and social care and how Health Improvement Scotland are taking this learning forward as part of developing a new Scottish Approach to Change. This will include discovering how Learning Systems support improvement at service and system scales. The session will have time for you to reflect and ask questions to reflect on what quality means to you about the practical application of both Human Learning and Quality Management Systems.
