In this session, we will explore leadership from the lens of Realistic Medicine and Value Based Health & Care. 

The session will be presented by Katy Styles, Clinical Lead for Realistic Medicine in NHS Grampian, with support from Ali Keast – Senior Educator in NHS Education for Scotland. Join Katy for an inspiring session on leading with authenticity and courage in health and social care. Through real-world examples and practical tools, Katy will explore how Realistic Leadership can drive meaningful change by: 

  • Applying a public health approach to improve care pathways 
  • Managing risk through open, constructive conversations 
  • Using the pillars of Realistic Medicine to support confident, values-driven leadership
