“The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t said.” – Peter Drucker – Austrian-American Management Consultant, educator and author.

Have you ever felt stuck in a conversation, like you and the other person are speaking different languages?

Understanding personal preferences in communication can unlock the potential for more effective connection between us.

Join us for an insightful session on “Personal Preferences in Communication” where we will explore how recognising and adapting to different communication styles can transform your ability to connect through the style and content of your conversations.

By understanding these preferences, you can foster better connections, reduce misunderstandings, and create a more collaborative way forward.

During this session, you will gain practical tools to identify and adapt to various communication styles, enhancing your ability to connect with others. We will use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as an example to illustrate these concepts.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Describe The 4 Types of Conversation
  • Describe different personal preferences in communication
  • Explain how this is relevant to your role
  • Identify one step you will take to improve your communication as a leader

This event is suitable for both those who do and do not manage teams.
