‘Maslow noted that “self-actualizers” are not pursuing happiness, although they might be lucky enough to experience it. Rather, they’re driven by their sense of values, purpose and potential’. (Mindtools)

We experience inspiring and motivated individuals at all levels of our services. They set the standard by encouraging and appreciating others, working with energy and enthusiasm, and creating a vision that people want to be part of.

By doing so, they motivate and inspire others to develop and bring their best contribution.

During the session we will look at one of the most popular theories on motivation – Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Maslow proposed that motivation is closely linked to our basic human needs. We will explore how understanding human needs can support us to thrive and reach our unique potential – or ‘self-actualisation’.

Using this model, we will look at what we need to pay attention to as a leader and how this can help us support and inspire others in the team to do the same.

This event is suitable for both those who do and who do not manage teams.

Please note there are limited spaces available on these sessions.
