Do you want to develop your confidence in your role as a leader of a team? 

As a leader, it is key to successfully manage not only your team, but also the range of relationships that come with the responsibility of leading a team. 

In this course we will explore the impact that 4 key groups have on your role as team leader: your manager, your peers, your partners, and the team you manage – while also considering the impact on the service your team provides. 

We will consider the nature of these relationships and how you can build you confidence in understanding how they impact you and your role, how they impact your team, and how you can build your capability and confidence in managing these on a day-to-day basis.  

We’ll help you explore and look deeper into what confidence means for you when it comes to balancing the relationships, challenges and asks of those impacting the team you lead. 
 
Join us for this session dedicated to exploring your development when leading a team, where you can gain deeper self-awareness and learn from peers about what supports their confidence and leadership practice.      

The learning outcomes for this session are:    

  • Recognise the role that confidence plays in effective leadership. 
  • Identify the key relationships to your current role and what is currently impacting your confidence in these relationships.  
  • Explore what leading a team with confidence means to you in this context.  
  • Select strategies to develop your leadership confidence and support you in building successful relationships.   

We offer a separate course that focuses on the relationships with and within the team you manage – this is Developing your Confidence as a Leader – Team Dynamics. 

This event will be also available to add to ‘My Learning’ in the Leading to Change app on completion of attendance of both days.   

Please note that this course is running in two parts over two mornings.
