The People and Purpose behind the NHS Scotland Ethnic Minority Forum

06/09/2024 - The People and Purpose behind the NHS Scotland Ethnic Minority Forum

Welcome to our second vlog, which celebrates and recognises the important work of the Ethnic Minority Forum. You can find out more about the executive team below the video in this post.

The NHS Scotland Ethnic Minority Forum (EMF) provides a space for representatives of local staff ethnic minority networks to come together on a regular basis to share issues and best practice, provide support and advice, and to be a unified voice for advocacy and change.

As the EMF launches their first annual report, they have released this video to explain the purpose and importance of the forum in supporting the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland with taking forward priorities relating to diversity and anti-racism, as well as pushing forward EMF’s own priorities.

For more information or to join the forum, please contact the secretariat at LCW@gov.scot.
